Bill Grueskin, class of '73, is fine, though currently homeless (and living with my sister). We live and work in Battery Park City, across the street from the World Trade Center. All three of our daughters are fine, but it was a harrowing ordeal, evacuating our baby and my wife as we were surrounded by smoke and ash, listening to the explosions of the Trade Center buildings collapsing, while my two other daughters were in their schools in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
We are all, though, alive and uninjured. And we are incredibly grateful for that. Some of our friends and neighbors are not so lucky.
