an untimely passing...

Hello all. I hope everyone's Thanksgiving holiday was very pleasant and fulfilling. I just wanted to inform you that a member of our MoVFTY alumni community, Bruce Baum, passed away this morning. He was at the reunion and I only met him briefly, but he said an online "hello" to me occasionally when he saw that I was logged on. He once messaged me from the hospital, probably a couple months ago, telling me that he'd had a heart attack. According to his brother, who e-mailed a list of addresses attached to one of Bruce's e-mails (which is how I got this information), the last 2 months for Bruce had been an uphill battle. He fought hard to the end but passed away at 5:32 this morning. Please join as a community to say kaddish for him at your shabbat services this weekend.
